In the area of the main concert hall of the Conservatory of Dnepropetrovsk hosted a presentation of the third book, published in a series of “National Culture Dnipropetrovsk,” which is created at the initiative of Governor Alexander Vilkul the 80th anniversary of the Dnepropetrovsk region.
At the presentation of the book arrived Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Eynulla Yadulla oglu Madatli.
Presenting the book to representatives of the Azerbaijani community and other ethnic communities of the region, chairman of Regional State Administration Oleksandr Vilkul said: “The 80th anniversary of the Dnipropetrovsk region – a multicultural celebration. This is a celebration of all nationalities, who created, developed and now multiply the glory of our region. Ukrainian and Azerbaijani people on the combined history of Dnipropetrovsk, which we treat with respect. And this mutual respect creates a solid foundation for future co-forward, together with representatives of other nationalities. ”
The governor noted that the book “The Azeris Dnipropetrovsk: Past and Present” focuses on the individual, the personality, revealing through each of these communities and the fate of an entire people. The first copy of this book, Alexander handed Vilkul Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Eynulla Yadulla oglu Madatli.
Azerbaijani ambassador expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to the Governor of Dnipropetrovsk stressed that his initiative is the publication of books on national communities – a vivid example of the wise policy of regional authorities to strengthen inter-ethnic peace and accord. For his part, Ambassador handed the governor a book about the Azerbaijan Republic.
The presentation of the book were also made by the mayor of Dnipropetrovsk adviser on the national and cultural issues Aslan Hafiz, the head of the Congress of Azerbaijanis Dnipropetrovsk Gudrat Hajiyev, deputy of the regional council Fakhraddin Mukhtar. All the speakers stressed their gratitude to Governor Alexander Vilkul noting that such an event is a unique and historic, because there are no examples where a regional authority took the initiative to publish books on the national community.
Concert program, which continued to feast, prepared by the Congress of Azerbaijani youth, which is headed by Elsa Bekirova. Applause greeted every dance hall, or a vocal number, but the most tumultuous applause honored the young Sunay Hajiyev, who performed the song “Azerbaijan”.
